They really should stop putting fan service in every anime

Yeah I agree that some animes shouldn't have fanservice, like in Nodame Cantabile where they go to a karaoke bar and two girls start singing but the entire screen is a close-up of their boobs swinging left and right like four chain balls. Now that really came out of no where

@AntAce:

I actually think the reason for the T+A in HOTD is much more simple: It's essentially a shout out to the schlocky horror flicks of the 70s and 80s which thrived on sex and violence, I mean the opening has a very old school kind of visual, combined with more modern elements.

Lol, for a topic that asks why they put fanservice in everything we sure seem to have gone onto us all loving fan service.

And perhaps thas why it's in a lot of stuff

Mmm, maybe. I felt like some scenes in Natsuiro Kiseki went too far, despite not going very far at all, but on the other hand things as simple as some of Saki's hairstyles could be considered fanservice in that show, or some of the mech designs in Gundam AGE - I think it's very much a question of exactly what a particular show is doing at any one particular time, rather than "no fanservice or else your show sucks".

Was hoping I would get to make this point, then your post was slipped in near the end of the thread. :p

It wouldn't be a "proper" zombie homage without the fanservice.
