I'm so pleased I've gone all digital with gaming now as while the cover art always looks pretty great the complete s**tshow when it comes to spines (the most important piece of artwork imo) led to most game collections looking terrible. I've never understood why black text on a white background is what so many of these games get on the spine, which makes collections on a shelf so bland looking.

By going all digital for the PS4 onwards I'm saving quite abit of money in the sales as well as not having the urge to import for better spine art, something that the USA rarely gets these days anyway. For example the SAO and Attack On Titan PS4 games have crap spines in every region.

Yeah the spines every now and then can be rather bland. Heck I was amazed when the PS3 US sets had better spines than the UK versions.
