We have a bigger community than UK A, Aoin is just judging both forums by their anime section & not the forum as a whole.

Ironic that Aoin should leave here to join unellmay's new haunt. XD

The guy is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most stupid person I've encountered in my eight or so years on the worldwide thingymajig. And I mean that. He'll attempt to throw his inane jibberish at you time and time again if you ever post in his direction. In order to get away from him because no-one would ban him, I tried to get myself banned by first intructing him how to commit suicide and then reporting myself for doing so - he's THAT annoying.

fyi: I'm on these forums. Why I stayed? Community is the key point.

You know, it really annoys me a lot. If people just WANT anime discussions, then there's the whole internet to find a forum that has lots of anime discussions. Same with other stuff, because as far as I'm concerned, if this forum was to discuss and ONLY discuss Anime, then this forum would be dead for discussion to me.

If the forum have ****-wits retards with a very low I.Q, it would be torture to discuss about the latest anime/manga. That's why I'm fine with this forum, I like the community.

Click Log-Out and find a forum that's far more suiting to you, Aion.

On-Topic: Why am I not surprised? Anything Unellmay post is bound to be painful/hilarious to read. I'm surprised no one banned Unellmay yet.
 
The majority of AUKN who post regularly don't watch anime religiously and have lives, bro. The ones who you want to discuss series with rarely post and just lurk.
 
Indeed. Once we find others who share our condition, we're tempted to discuss with them all the other marvellous things worthy of discourse.

In any case, I'll admit I feel jealous of other sites when they get news before we do, but I also understand that this is mainly because I'm a slowpoke.
I think it's is good to have some sort of healthy competition though. I do wish I had more time to stir things up a little.

Ditto. Although I want to get ocean waves, the only thing I could say about your review was great review. If I never heard of it before I'd probably buy it. Also, more often than not, you're annoyed by one line answers, which seems to be my favourite kind of answers.

I do agree. We are in need of reviewers and news reporters. Currently there is only me reporting, with a sporadic help from Arby and Ryo. I've been wanting to reform the website for a while, but that takes a lot of time or money. I don't have talent for design and time has been proving difficult to find lately.

We have too many lurkers here... nothing wrong with it, but it would be nice if people posted every once in a while.
 
lol gotta say, Aion and CG have both complained about the AUKN forums regarding general chats rather than being solely devoted to Anime discussion.

One thing i'm going to say is.....That's not healthy mate. I've spoken to you about Anime, asked for advice on what would be worth watching and what wouldn't. and after that i spoke to you generally, how's life and that sort of business. It's not a bad thing to just chill and talk to people. i mean....if you picture general discussion on a anime based forums...thats off topic...agreed? Well talking about Unellmay....then complaining about the forums being quiet.....isn't that just as off topic?

If people have a grievance to the way AUKN fairs visually compared to other sites.....well why not start a little competition? or why not break the constraints of singularity and work together on making the site look better. you'll only ever get out of life, what your willing to put in.

(As for it being quiet....Granted in the past week its been quiet...but i'm back now so it'll be busy again ;) )
 
I've been wanting to make an upgrade on AUKN for a while.

I'll give it a try sometime soon, I just need to confirm things will work as expected if I do so.

But more than design, the website relies on content and we've been lacking a little, with fewer and fewer regular contributors.
 
Not if it still has to operate inside "Mania". I'd be more inclined towards a kidnapping mission to bring their members here and force them to post.
