I'm not really into anime in a high school setting, so I really appreciated Golden Time and it's more mature college seetting.  It was a great series as well - definitely my favorite of the six series that Geriatric hedgehog listed, with Horimiya and Toradora following right behind. I do have all six of those series in my collection.
