Come on, one person who complains about this being a sticky and you unsticky it.....and he gets banned and i (another singular person) who has never been banned asks for it to be stickied again....and ....nothing....??

Seriously now, I can only endure one person causing so much trouble. If one insists on being a pain, I see no reason to keep them around.
Ultimately admins are only fans and volunteers as well. If some members takes the fun out of our admin roles, I don't see a problem in banning them for good. We will keep the warnings and one month ban policy, but a second ban is permanent.

I beg to disagree.
There have been some ganging up on CG before. If people gang up someone, I'd say there is a tendency to be on the defensive, and switching from defense to offense is pretty easy.
Opening a poll would be just another form of ganging up on and I'll treat it like what it is: bulying.

We created rules and we will stick to them as long as it proves feasible. are we doing a good job or a bad job? Well, I don't really know. I like to believe we are doing all right as stats led me to believe.

A dick will always be a dick. If he comes back, the forum will be an even worse place than before with him and the TTGL tard together. It's bad enough reading his posts, without seeing the TTGL tard chipping in a messy message after every post.

It should've been for life or not at all. No-one on the forum likes him apart from people I dislike, and I only dislike idiots because I'm cool like that.

The only reason I can even see him coming back is for some kind of retarded internet revenge.

Fine, your making me take time out of my very busy schedule when i get home of playing prototype and cooking dinner for my gf. i shall have to spend time hacking the website....stickying it myself... revoking you as an admin...and then laughing triumphantly.

I hear we're a lot more willing to accept ideas when threats are left out of it ;) I've been on the net way too long to worry about this kind of comment. If it needs to be stickied again we will sticky it whenever we're next doing some spring cleaning. Kneejerk stickying something as a trade off for making an unpopular decision is a road I don't think any of us need to walk down.

Anyway, I'm going to finally start doing the stuff today I had planned now I've upgraded my OS!

A thread that is always in the top 5 threads does not need a sticky since a sticky is only needed for important threads that don't get much traffic.

Also, how about you guys use some Jif (i.e. unsticky) on the avatar and desktop threads?
