The General Conversation Area

I did one semester of law in Brazil and gave up as I moved city, then I graduated in Business Administration.

All I can say is be prepared to read a lot for those two top choices of yours, specially law =)

I find business better than law, as it's a more practical thing in general and I'm more of a practical kind of guy, rather than the abstraction type.

pff, bollocks. School wasn't the best days of my life by any means. Uni has fitted that bill far more easily i would say.

dunno why people study law anyway, no one knows them :D
Basically you study law so you can steal from people without going to jail.
=P
The first thing I heard once I've got to law school was "ignorance is not an excuse".

Hell if i'd have known what i know now 2 years ago i wouldn't be working lol its such an easy life being a student in college....compared to working.

Plus....i've worked out that next year....i'll be roughly as old as black was when i first started talkin to him....now thats an eye opener considering the time difference.

Edit: Chaos....your just old too lol when you reach 25 your officially old.

LEAVE MY ARIES ALONE!

right come on guys help me out, i'm looking for a movie song, that's well known, kinda spooky, but i can't remember it's name or the movie

it's a piano piece, pretty sure it's the main end or the main theme and is slightly haunting.

i remember the movie was quite depressing and a big hit, like brokeback mountain but i don't think that's the one.

Think it may of been done by Enya or Enigma

oh and it's used on a charity advert that's on tv alot atm

1) Apart from the odd day they find a case worth bothering, I see lawyers living mostly in ignorance. I bet they dont read up on anything until such case is brought up. (At least I still read my ceramic books and such. :p)

2) Ignorance is a lifestyle for me: the less I argue with someone, the easier and happier life is for me. (Plus it gets certain jobs out the way faster.)

I even made a character called Nora, who in one of my character groups (LFTD) is the personification of Ignorance. :) I love that word, I do!

Ryo only song i know that fits that kind of description is Mad World, the ending song to Donnie Darko.

Well guys i'm heading off now, going to have lunch then its back to my house so i can take measurements so i'll be gone till late tonight.

Later guys :)

Could it be the Donnie Darko theme? Taht's slightly haunting. I would connect a link but my work PC won't let me. ¬_¬

Back from lunch now... obviously. :p

EDIT: Damn you Black

Black ment Mad World but there is another Donnie Darko theme with piano (no words). It's also used on a car advert recently where they attach balloons to them and let them float off.... maybe... :]

@Tachi.... I sense a McD's heading south of yout throat cannal. lol

oh no no, it's not a evil kinda of movie

it's like Air, bittersweet, and the music can be classed as emo or chillout

if i could figure out a program where i can record music from notes i could play it for u

Urgh, i've had enough of them, if i carry on one day you'll get a post off my family sayng "his heart stopped.....something about eating a big mac for 3 weeks running must have caused it"

I'm not right hungry but i need something to tide me over till later.
subway maybe?

Guagh!! 3 weeks?! I use fast food as a treat or a last resort...
Mind you, that doesn't stop me from having ready-made meals, so I'm not that much better.
