The Gamecube.

Probably one of my favourite consoles. I have two. I also love how rare some of these games have become. Battle Stadium D.O.N is amazingly fun. so what do you love about the gamecube? I just love that it never dies!

Unfortunatly due to space constraints I am forced to sell one of my gamecubes. it has one controller. comes with an SD Media Launcher for homebrew and comes with a rare collection of Zelda Games, including the illusive Twilight Princess. I am selling it for £130 I'd bundle all the RE Nintendo Exclusive games with it for £180.

Haha Sorry. I do want to talk about how awesome the GC was. I'll put the sales advert in small print so people can ignore it. I really don't want to get rid of it.. no choice though :/ I miss 2003

No GC backwards compatibility in the WiiU... Gamecube died, bro.

But yeah, great console in some ways, bit undercooked in others. Home to the only actually good Super Monkey Ball game.

Ahh, yeah, that is definitely one of the pluses. How they went from that to the tuppenny-ha'penny cardboard and strings workmanship of the Wii, I don't know.

Also the controllers are made of nintendium. I've broken 2 controllers for my PS2 and my new one is going squiffy, I had the GC for 3 years longer and never any trouble.

It's also the most portable console out there. I mean, how easy is it to take to a mate's? Compared with the rather bulky PS2 (until slim came out) and the behemoth that was the xbox

I didn't have as good luck with my GC controllers although the console is certainly sturdy (my brother knocked both my GC and his PS2 off getting his new bed in his room a few years ago. Both consoles still work).

Ah I loved my Gamecube, I don't play it too often anymore, just every now and then.
Unfortunately my family foster care, and a year or two back we had a destructive **** in who damaged a lot of my games, I hope they all still play.

As far as it goes though, I did have some relatively rare titles, although I missed a few others like Baiten Kaitos.

From memory, my collection includes
Zelda:WW (Initial Gold Release with the bonus disc)
Tales of Symphonia
Metroid Prime 1+2
Super Mario Sunshine
Eternal Darkness (the bathtube scene!! :()
Legend of Zelda Collectors Edition (disc that came with MM, OOT etc)
Pikmin 1+2
Animal Crossing (Import, Freeloader disc unfortunately destroyed by aforementioned kid so unplayable now :()
Metal Arms
F-Zero GX
Viewtiful Joe
Paper Mario
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (another game that was definately destroyed :()
Skies of Arcadia
Soul Calibur II
Super Smash Bros

I'm sure there was more though, and also a number traded/sold over the years. Great console, and yeah, pretty hardy control pads, which were also really really comfortable.

I adore my gamecube, it's the only one of home consoles that I have brought the most games for it. In fact I had 2 games for it before I even had my GC(The Legend of Zelda:WInd Waker and the collectors edition). Currently it lives in it's orignal box since I have the Wii to play my GC games :)

I think the rarest games I own for it are:
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
The Legend of Zelda Collectors Edition x2 (One from my subscription to NOM and the other with Mario Kart:Double Dash)
Pokemon Box:Ruby and Sapphire (Got it with the Pokemon Colloseum Mega pak, where I got my GC)
Resident Evil 2

I've got rare games, but I think the rarest thing I have is the demo of Splinter Cell given away with NGC magazine.

Either that or the PAL version of Mario Superstar Baseball.

Also didn't realise that The Twin Snakes went for so much!

I have MGSTTS :) I don't think it's quite as sought after as the GC Resis but it's up there.
