The Daily Mail have posted a positive preview/feature on the wine-tasting manga "Kami No Shizuku" (a.k.a The Drops Of God), which seems to be set for a UK release (no release date provided) courtesy of Manga Shakespeare publisher Self Made Hero.
"The ten-volume series sees two brothers given the challenge of locating 12 legendary wines when their father, a wine critic, dies suddenly. Whichever son succeeds in the challenge inherits their father's £9 million wine cellar."
Given the Daily Mail's reaction to manga in the past has been anything but positive, their attempts here make for a refreshing change, especially given they are probably fighting against the prevalent notion amongst their readers that comics are supposed to be for kids only.
