Welcome to the official Legal Streaming list where every title is available to stream for the UK & Ireland. This thread is dedicated to offering the UK & Ireland anime fans a list of every available movie and series online, whether its for free or part of a subscription service.
In collaboration with fellow AUKN user crashb648 we have a back-up of this thread in the form of a spreadsheet.
For a shortcut of the latest new additions and simulcasts, we have a separate thread available which you can view below:
2017: Winter - Spring - Summer - Autumn / 2018: Winter - Spring - Summer - Autumn
2019: Winter - Spring - Summer - Autumn / 2020: Winter - Spring - Summer - Autumn
2021: Winter - Spring - Summer
Websites like AnimeLab, Hulu and Wakanim are also legally supporting streaming services, however, they are not accessible for the UK & Ireland. Viewster is also another example but it is under maintenance and currently does not have a window on when it will return.
Not every anime will be available in English audio or vice versa, these are due to licensing restrictions or how well they performed during its simulcast. English dubs are available mostly through Funimation, HIDIVE, and Netflix, but Crunchyroll does offer a small selection. In any case, I have added additional tags for select streaming sites on each site to help specify if a title is English dubbed only or offers both English & Japanese audio options.
Streaming Service Payment Costs:
Illegal streaming anime websites will not be mentioned or allowed on this list. A common misconception with the anime community is that those specific sites are "legit" and "support" the industry, they do not. If you want to support the industry or increase the chances of an English dub, I highly suggest you use the main legal streaming sites I mentioned above.
Amazon Prime and Netflix are relatively more expensive than the others, but they cover a wide variety of entertainment from western media to foreign cinema, so there is added value if you want to explore other areas.
=================================================================================
Key Notes:
(D) notes the title is English audio only for that streaming platform
(S) notes the title is Japanese audio with English subtitles only for that streaming platform
If neither of the above is mentioned, then the title is available in both languages (dubbed and subbed)
