The Christmas Thread

Hi guys. We all know its approaching Christmas and I want to know what you peeps are going to be doing, watching, drinking and eating over Christmas.

Myself, I'll be trying to make a special dessert (not sure what yet) for the family or either Christmas Day or Boxing Day.

Also I'm going to try to watch one complete anime series (maybe a Xmas themed one, any suggestions?).

Oh and of course - eat a ton of food and drink a ton of beer/wine/champagne/spirits hehe =)

I'm going to try and find time to rewatch the Love Hina Christmas special. That was super awesome. Maybe even Itsudatte! My Santa.

My older brother and his wife are coming down from London and I think we're planning on having a big meal on Christmas Eve, whereas Christmas Day will have loads of nibbles around.

On Monday, I'm off to Bangladesh for a month. There's a massive huge wedding for one of my old family friends and it's a week-long celebration by the beach. After that, it's three weeks of catching up with family and trying not to get bored :p

merry/happy christmas all.

I've got family coming round on christmas eve and we'll probably have a buffet style party then xmas day i'll be spending all day playing ME3 multiplayer so pretty much just what I do every day really. Just any other tuesday.
 
My boyfriend and I are going to my parents' place for a few days, then I'm going to visit a friend in Manchester, then I'm playing a gig near Inverness for Hogmanay! Keeps me busy, I guess.
 
Small gathering this year. Just my parents, younger brothers and my grandparents.

As it's also my youngest brothers birthday there will be birthday cake along side christmas pudding lol

We usually have christmas dinner around lunchtime, so afternoon will be spent watching anime/playing video games (as that's what our presents usually consist of)
 
I'm staying at my mum's. Going to be drinking a lot of ale and cider.

Got my grandparents, aunt and cousins coming over for Christmas dinner. One cousin is bringing over her ex-fiance, which is a bit weird.
 
Tomorrow I must transport a turkey upon my own back for logistical purposes. It is now, I must admit, more of a tradition than a necessity.

In a pre-emptive strike against Zin5ki brand wit, let me clarify that I'll be staying at my own mother's house, not Maxon's.
 
I'm at home for it all. What's more, i'm working christmas eve, boxing day, new years eve, new years day and i think the 2nd of january as well. So all this festive fun everyone else is enjoying, i'm missing out on. It's a bit meh all in all. Though i am tempted to tell them that, if i don't get pay and a half/double pay on new years day, i'm not doing it. Just to see how they react. It is a holiday after all.

This time of year calls for a rewatch of Amagami SS or Toradora!

Other than that, I guess it's just your average Christmas here.
