The BBFC are trying to kill Independent Cinema again!

I've signed the petition. The BBFC definitely needs to go, if anything they encourage kids to do crazy and desperate things. I remember one time I was trying to buy an 18 rated video game at GAME and got refused. I proceeded to wait for a simultaneously kind-natured and immoral looking person to approach the shop and propositioned them to take my money and buy the game for me. The guy bought it me, but he insisted on putting the reward points on his loyalty card. The swine.

An e-petition has gone up, and they're most of the way to the target. Help them get the Department of Culture to have a rethink about this.

I've never seen that website before, surely this should be up on the government website?

38 Degrees is a pretty effective campaigning organisation. It might actually achieve more there than going on the government website, since all it'd get from there, if it got enough signatures is a stock response from the Government.
