The 3DS is getting an extension/expansion, whatever.

So yeah, It was confirmed earlier today that the 3DS is going to get this "slider pad" which will essentially add an extra analog stick to the console to the right hand side of it.

As for how comfortable it'll be considering its literally right beside the ABXY buttons, who knows. We'll just have to wait and see what people say i guess. And it also backs up the fact there has been apparent rumours of the 3DS getting a redesign.
 
I would hope it is getting a redesign because that is the ugliest piece of **** add-on I've ever seen. Are Ninty trying to get people to pity them?
 
I knew from the start that they rush released the system. I do love it, yes, but there's no doubt that it feels unfinished in so many ways.

But I think Capcom are saying that the second slide pad is optional, and the game can be played without it.

It's not a case of Nintendoomed, but Nintendtonotunderstandthecurrentmarket.

Not yet, hun, but I've had Tri on Wii for ages, and one of the PSP ones too. Just not gotten around to playing them yet because I'm a whore who buys really good games but never gets around to playing them.
 
I kinda want a 3DS but I also kinda want to boycott it, for the simple fact that Ninnty screwed over the time honoured handheld tradition of them being region free. Some of my favourite DS titles were ones I had to import from the states, and I'll be sad to miss out on the next generation of them. So long Devil Survivor overlocked....
 
why do they need a second stick for the 'proper Resi3D' cause you still have to stand still to aim so it can share with the movement stick.

I just bought a 3DS but I have only played about 5 minutes of zelda. There's not really anything else that really interest me art present, and MGS3, I'll get HD collection on the ps3 or 360 as the more comfortable format.
