Thanks for the info, i've long been confused to when i was looking in to buying the first series of Tenchi Muyo that was shown on Cartoon Network back in the day but couldn't work out which one it was or what to get first.
Shame they're so damn expensive, off to ebay i go lol.

Most of the ones on Ebay are fake, but i've seen a few pop up latley. If you're going to buy a fake you may aswell download them. But really, buy the originals or i may have to kill you.

All the ebay buys i've had so far have been perfect, i'ven compared them screen to screen from original store copies. I'm a proper quality Nazi lol
I'm positive the ebay collections i have arn't fake, and if they are they are immaculate.

Plus i'm sorry but i'd rather save money mate
I refuse to pay that much for all of them if i can find one on ebay that is cheaper and just as good quality i'll take it.

You may have bought the real deal, i'm just saying any there are only two official "Complete" collections of Tenchi which are both only available in the states, and one by MVM. So any other complete collection will be fake so if you wanted to save money you would be better downloading them rather than lining some bootleggers pockets.

Nope. The Tenchi Muyo manga was released after the series and there are NO shows based on the maga at all. The manga was written and drawn by Hitoshi Okuda, one of the original workers on the first OVA. Tenchi Muyo! Daughter of Darkness takes place after the first OVA (episodes 1-6) and discards everything after that.

You would be referring to the Light Hawk Wings which are more focused on in the OVA's. Ryoko is found in the cave in the OVA's compared to Tenchi Universe where it's Washu thats found in the cave.

So if you were wanting to watch the series you seen on Cartoon Network then it would be the OVA's you should buy. Tenchi Universe was also shown on Cartoon Network and if you like the OVA's you'll probably like that too.
