Combat Butler
As part of Namco Bandai’s press conference taking part in Dubai today, the company has announced that a new Tekken film will be released this year called Tekken Blood Vengeance. Instead of the awful live-action fare that was released, this will be a completely CG-affair much in the same way as Resident Evil: Degeneration.
The film will be directed by the cinematic director of Tekken 5 and 6 “Youichi Mouri”, while script writer for Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex “Dai Sato” will be providing the screenplay. Production is being handled by Digital Frontier who were responsible for Resident Evil: Degeneration.
The plot of the film seems to be following the plot of Tekken 6, with Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima fighting each other for control of the Mishima Zaibatsu.
