May as well start a thread since i know there's a few tales of fans here.

So yeah bout 1 hour in and loving every second

Yuri's attitude is just great

and Es seems almost like a pink haired collette, just more gormless :D

So far this game has been nothing impressive, I'll stick to it though, I'm just not in the right mood right now, I don't want to sit in a dark room and play an RPG by myself, need to satisfy my FPS/TPS thirst.

It took me like an hour to work out how to do Artes moves, I ignored the tutorial...

Up to Halure atm, this game has gotten much better, combat is fun as always for a Tales game, I'm liking all the characters so far to an extent despite the obvious character archetypes I quite like Estellise the most out of the cast so far, Yuri's voice also took me by surprise, I didn't expect it to be so... deep.

Estellise <3

I'm glad that they've voiced the skits this time around. They didn't bother with previous games in the series.

ps3 version will be awesome when it's fully voiced

If the PS3 version even comes out in the West {me wanty the pirate}.
But oh well.

Really enjoying it so far, my first Tales Of game.

I'm about ten hours in and just about to make my way out of the ruined city, which reminded me of why I like the dungeons in Tales games. They don't go on forever and have some light puzzles to keep the player from dying of boredom.

The plot, until now driven by Yuri's search for the core thief, has been rather underwhelming, but with characters being introduced left right and centre it's starting to get more interesting. Oh, and a special mention goes to Rita's dismissive wave and turn when she levels up or learns a new skill. It's... cute ^_^

I completed act 1, on act 2 right now, only the beginning of it, I'm going slow with this game, it's really fun and the combat system is actually quite deep, too bad the scenario writing lets the story down a little.
