That RRP for Sword of the Stranger is frankly ridiculous. I'm interested in that movie - but not at that price.

Have you ever seen a DVD on sale at RRP??

Now Beez, would it not have been an idea to release the BD at the same time as the DVD?

Would have done - however we were stuck waiting for Spain to release it as we were required to create an EU BD once only due to master materials. So was out of our hands there!

Cool, i was going to import the fma boxsets r1 as i didnt acutally think we would get the bluray version of it but now i will just wait and get the blu version YAY!

Plus i really wanted to get Sword Of The Stranger on BD as well

I have Sword of the Stranger on DVD and plan to buy FMA on DVD too. I can't be dealing with all this Blue Ray stuff. I don't have the technology to play in my room so I shan't bother.

Need to get a bluray drive soon, with eva 1.11 and now FMA: Brotherhood. Hopefully somemore of the popular US re-releases in Bluray will come out here soon.

Astonishingly - yes!

High RRP is a bugbear of mine, simply because I live in a backwards little town with very few specialist shops. RRP tends to be the marked price on a lot of shelf stock here.

Not such an issue with online prices, obviously, but a high RRP can translate to a better but less-than-attractive price there, in my experience.

Yes, I'm being churlish. But it's all part of my agenda!

I would be really happy to see more blu-ray releases, if the one I wanted didn't have a price I can't justify paying and the other wasn't a remake which I'm in no great hurry to buy. Sorry guys. Better luck next time.

*shakes his fist at Spain*

Oh well, my DVD copy is signed. Can't complain too much!

Unless the Sword of the Stranger BD receives a huge discount at the usual online stores, I'm out.
This is in the right ballpark. I'd not planned to pay more than £15 given that I already own the DVD, but this is at least comparable to what it would cost to import the US version.

wow, £28 for the 13 episodes on blu ray when the dvd would probably set me back around £18 anyway.

Only £10 extra for Blu, count me in!!
