Suisei no Gargantia, Production IG's new Sci-fi PV

Production I.G new sci-fi <b>Suisei no Gargantia</b> has their first preview released. <b>Fullmetal Alchemist: Sacred Star of Milos</b>'s director Kazuya Murata will be telling the story of young officers form a galactic army who becomes shipwrecked on a watery frontier planet whose inhabitants live on convoys of ships.

The art's not doing a lot for me, but the story sounds like it might be interesting at least.

When I and a few writers interviewed Kazuya Murata this summer, he did mention an original project he was working on.

Wouldn't be that excited but good ol' writer Gen Urobuchi is working on it as well and considering Madoka, Fate/Zero and so far Psycho/Pass have been excellent, then this could turn out to be really good.

Oh Gawd. It looks like every other mecha I've ever seen, except with clunkier animation. Dull character designs, dull world concept, dull music. And I'm going by the fact that they theoretically would have presented some of their best scenes in that preview.

Someone please make a season with good stuff in it!
