Anime fans in London have the opportunity of attending a free screening of Katsuhiro Otomo's Steamboy on Sunday the 1st of April from 14:00 to 19:00 at the Whirled Art Cinema.

If free anime sounds great then you can enjoy yourself even more with free popcorn which will be available at the bar. Organising this is an anime influenced indie clothing brand by the name <a href="http://www.mayamada.com/">Mayamada</a> who will also have a pop up shop where you can grab any of their t-shirts like the one below.    


 
The screening is free to attend but to confirm your spot you’ll have to get one of the 49 remaining tickets available so if you are interested then head over to this <a href="http://animeshowtime2.eventbrite.co.uk/">webpage</a> to get your ticket and get free anime goodness sharpish! Dude, it's a free event. The only thing that's selling for actual money there is the T Shirts. Unless you want to buy T Shirts at the Expo, the event won't do jack to your wallet.

Yeah I didn't mean the money, I just meant it's on the same day so I'm going to have to come back to London a little earlier.

Our screening isn't on the same day as MCM. At least I hope not, that would be a huge oversight by us! MCM is in May right?

Anyone else from here turn up to this? Nice event and very friendly company. Tees look good quality too (my friend picked one up).

Apologies to the Mayamada folk for me showing up almost 2 hours late and heavily hungover :p Shame I missed out on the meet& greet and popcorn!
