Hey everyone,

Spring is now in full swing and we here at Crunchyroll are continuing the good news for you guys! Kicking off today's announcement is Majestic Prince, another sci-fi mecha anime to add to our Spring 2013 lineup!

Majestic Prince will be launching on Crunchyroll this Thursday, April 4, 2013, at 8:00am Pacific Time, and will be available to audiences in the following territories: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

Majestic Prince is based off of a manga written by Rando Ayamine and illustrated by Hikaru Nijima. The story takes place in the future where humanity has reached out into space to gather more resources, including sending out genetically modified teenagers into deep space to mine asteroids with giant robots. At first glance, Majestic Prince appears to have all the trappings of an action-packed robot-fighting series, but upon closer inspection, Majestic Prince does not take itself too seriously and injects a good dose of humor into the whole story.

Directed by Keitaro Motonaga, whose other works include Katanagatari and Jormugand, and features character designs that will be familiar to fans of Gundam Seed and Fafner of the Azure, done by Hisashi Hirai. The voice cast includes Hiroki Aiba as Izuru Hitachi, Shintao Asanuma as Toshikazu Asagi, Yuka Iguchi as Tamaki Irie, Yoko Hikasa as Kei kugimiya, and Junya Ikeda rounding out the main group as Ataru Suruga.

Majestic Prince is one i'm still not sold on. I may watch the first episode or two and see how it pans out but we'll see. I'm still holding out hope that Gargantia will be picked up as well, hopefully will be announced later this week.

Also it's nice to see them pick up another J-Drama for the site. I don't see many live action series come their way, so this is pretty good for those that like that. I probably won't watch them myself

Yaaay UtaPri and even the first season which I dropped at some point due to FuNico being too confusing. It's a bit annoying when the sequel debuts before the original series on CR, so I might wait to start watching until I'm back in sync. There's loads I want to watch this season, which is problematic as I still need to watch the last two episodes of everything I was following from last season ^^;

Good to see the UK included in the region list for the things I want to see at the moment.

In exchange for her silence, he makes a ‘contract’ with her, in which he must abide by all of her unreasonable demands. Flowers of Evil will be available in the following territories: U.S.A, Canada, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Central & South America.e/quote]

I wonder what Anime On Demand's plans are for this season... I was kind of hoping the 'now-departing' season would be the season that it somewhat improves as a service, yet it seems to have not.

I'm hoping they won't be doing anything except possibly sub-licensing stuff to CR, if their communication from the past season is anything to go by...

I think it can just be taken for granted now that CR's offerings for each season will be excellent. AoD needs to do... something. As Rui mentions, I think that starts with better communication.
