Thousand Master
Rather than post multiple new threads for each of the new shows I'm trying out this season going to lump them all into one thread and quickly goiong through the lot of them
To Love Ru- Fan service of the most common order. Jiggles, pratt falls into said jiggles, and 'commedic' violence (but only cause it's women wacking men). Will probably drop like a sack of spuds.
Kure Nai- Different take on what i've see in the manga. Starts at a different point, but with roughtly the same characters, also a bit more serious and dark (in mood and lighting). However very watchable.
Kanokon- ... okay. Fan service show with fox ears, possibly harem as well. Yeah, yeah see it all before. Except not quite. What makes it different is that some shows seem to have two people who like each other , but it takes them over half the series to admit it to them selves, and the rest to admit it to each other. Then it takes another series to get them to hold hands. Not with this show, not even half way through the lass has the lad on the floor and is pulling down his pants. This aggressiveness isn't what you normally see in anime women so will keep this one up (though probably not for very long)
The Tower of Druaga Are we sure this isn't linked to some tie in game? While the first episode was a piss take of every RPG, fanatsy anime in existence the second was much more down to Uruk. Thing is it seems more like a class based RPG or MMORG. While not bad it's standard Gonzo fare.
Blassreiter Yet more pure Gonzo. A Frankenstein's monster cut from other shows, a bit from Bubblegum crisis, a snip from ghost rider, a chunk from Guyver. While it has potenial, as with so many Gonzo shows, doubt it will live up to what it could be.
Vampire Knight- Bishi vampires by the bucket load. Not my cup of tea, but aparently changes in a bit so will keep with it for a few more episodes.
Macross Frontier- gimme more, NOW!
Code Geass –Lelouch of the Rebellion– R2- Afraid Sunrise will do a Destiny on this and basicly repeat the plot of the original but adding in more characters so none get the time they deserve.
Soul Eater- Want to like it but, something bugs me about it. Voices, lack of difference from manga, ... can't put a finger on it. Hopefully it will pass though.
