On the last episode of South Park they featured an long spoof of Totoro using Cthulhu and its pretty funny.
Here's a side by side comparison of the opening bit

and then they had a song...

Oh, I thought you just gave me spoilers for the latest one that I'm about to watch in a sec. Yeah, this stuff was good. I did initially think it was referencing The Never Ending Story, but read a review after saying it was Totoro.

Anyway, I freaking love this "Coon and Friends" storyarc. Kenny is such a badass.

Did anyone catch the three-parter?

I freaking loved it. It's like Matt and Trey were writing it for themselves and ended up creating one hell of a Lovecraftian storyarc. They even developed a South Park mythos - which is just beyond awesome. The fact that they know their show so damn well, that continuity is still there, even from one-liners from 10+ years ago makes me a very happy SP fan. They might do some crap, but they drive it home like no one else.

I hope the standalone finale is decent, even if I haven't got great expectations. Matt/Trey are so much better are doing arc-y stuff now-a-days. It was originally farts jokes, then satire, now fart jokes, satire and storyarcs! Brilliance.

All I need to say to this is. Cartman killed Bieber. So this episode goes down in History as one of the greatest episodes of South Park. Ever.
