Soul Eater Trailer: Opinions?

Yep, the trailer for Soul Eater is now out. And since the members here have some interest in it, I'll post the link on here.

I think it's looking so good so far, but I don't think the seiyuu is fitting for Soul (I was thinking among the lines of a more lighter voice, like a cocky teenager. More like Naruto Seiyuu)

But I do like the look of it. I hope it manage to pull some stunts instead of being similar to the typical shounen fighter,
 
In the trailer I saw: Naruto, D.Gray-man, Claymore, Bleach, FMA, and some other crap.

BONES animation & T.M. Revolution opening, DO WANT.

Why was Yu Kanda there? Why was Winry Rockbell there? Why was Naruto there?

Final verdict from trailer: Seems generic, but I just can't say no to BONES animation, and I wanna hear the T.M. song.
 
I don't like how young ALL the characters seem to be, the use of colour and the general look. It reminds me of D.Gray-man, just with younger characters.

...Still, with me not watching Bleach or Naruto these days, I might give it a go for some new weekly shounen action.
 
As resident Rahxephon and Bones Fanboy as soon as i found out Bones was doing Soul Eater found the manga and read as mush as I could. Visually it's as faithful as it could be, but unsure of the VA's, Black Star's Voice is as i expected, but Maya, Soul, and Death the Kid ... erh not quite sure. Don't get me wrong, however, I am looking forward to it.
 
I just hope it gets licensed and released this year.

Also, I hope it's been animated in HD, and will subsequently get an HD release simultaneously.
 
OK, that looks amazing. Reminds me of Dead Leaves, the animation is really fluid and exciting to see. Soul Eater just became my second most anticipated anime of the spring season.
 
it looks really good, i love the style of the characters and the settings. without watching a couple of episodes i don't know what they plan on doing with the characters but the designs look great.

the only thing im 50/50 on is the age of said characters, but ill save judgement till i've watched a few.
 
Looks fairly crazy (check out the moon!) Still heres hoping it's crazy in a good kind of way. I have faith in bones and the animation looks pretty slick.

In just over 2 weeks.

Gonzo have just made the very first step in the online history of anime distribution. Hopefully that will pave the way for other animation studios to do the same thing. The thought of watching Soul Eater at the same time as it's airing...

(Mainly because my New Years Resolution is to start giving things a fair chance and stop being overly critical)

But I swear, once I catch up to the latest episode and it still sucks I'm coming after Jayme.
