You were presented his subjective opinion.

Why don't you present your subjective opinion to the TC and answer his question, instead of trying to look like Mr. Smarty Pants?

I haven't watched the series but Daphne is known as a fan service series, I know that much. The cover art for each volume suggest it's all boobs and little in the way of brains. Sex sells, though - I think it sold quite well for MVM.

yeah sex does sell, but i was thinking it was a little more then just 'WHAM! BAM! , Thank you mam'. Funny thing is even Shana's considered ecchi in a way.

So heres the plan, watch the pilot ep then give us a scale of 1-10

Watched the lot and while the fan service is there for all to see, the girls wear less than a hankey's worth of cloth (for no given reason) it is about as sexy as a turnip. and the number of men could be counted on one hand.
AS for the rest the 1st half is fairly standard episodic missions/ getting to know the various cast and crew. Since they have the character depth of a teaspoon it does seem like overkill. Then half way through it changes tack to where does then wet blanket of a lead character come from, as the laser guided amesia which hasn't been mentioned or even hinted at in the least bit takes over the plot.
While it doesn't do much wrong it completely fails to do anything right. All to easily skipped and deservedly so

I sort of agree with hopeful_monster. But I did find it quite watchable as there is an okay story line hidden behind the fan service. The fan service while in your face it becomes normal and gets less in the way than many series.
