So I'm planning to buy a 360

Hey Lupus - congratulations on getting the 360
Also I can recommend Naruto as I think it is a very good fighting game with a simple yet fun fighting system. And is it says on the box it is the first "great" Naruto game!

Only thing about Lost Odyssey is its apperntly got mecha loading times. Like Resident Evil 1 style, its like 20 second loading between each fight, and going through every door brings another loading screen, and apperntly the score isnt a patch on the FF score.

(Thats from IGN btw)

... I can never win. Depends what FF though, VI and VII's music is timeless, as is X's but the rest I wasn't feelin' all that much. Loading time won't effect me that much, but it's a downside.

Never mind FFVIII, you didn't like FFIX's score?

...Where is your soul?

I never really got into FF games. Iplayed 7 for a bit but, never found them THAT special.

Dead Rising is awful...worst save system I've ever seen. I guess I can understand people liking it for sandbox messing around, but trying to play through the story is a nightmare...the save system killed it.

I like Blue Dragon a lot...
That's all I want Dead Rising for anyway, to mess around with it, again I've also heard quite a few negative comments about it.

Hey! Let's not turn this into a FF thread. >_>

I liked some of VIII's music, some prime examples being Liberi Fatali, Eyes on me and Force Your Way, the rest of the tracks are mainly easily forgetable. IX's music is also extremely good, but same with VIII the music just didn't have a big impact on me, regardless if I acknowledge the OST as "awesome".

Thanks, Churchy. I went looking for it today in stores, but actually couldn't find it anywhere, which is a bit of a shame. =|

I did get two more games though today, actually, wanted Blue Dragon, but in the end came home with Devil May Cry 4 and Eternal Sonata. DMC4 had me sold on the opening movie, though once I played it I got what I expected, normal DMC gameplay with cheesy lines and a thin plot, but it's still a good game. Eternal Sonata I've not played yet, but I did begin to read Espy's one review he posted on his livejournal before I read some spoilers which I've not supressed not to ruin the game... I think it was on Espy's livejournal anyways.

Two good games :) You'll enjoy both. Eternal Sonata's story isnt really that compelling anyway to be honest, its the gameplay (for me anyway).

Have fun :) [/spoiler]

Yeah, it was on my LJ, and labelled. I'd be surprised if you made any sense of what you read, though. I played the entire game and didn't understand anything that was going on in the ending!

It's still a good game, though. Just be prepared for an ending that doesn't make sense, with no real climax.
