Short Eva Rebuild clip

OMG OMG OMG! Awesome! It's only 15 seconds, but it's still enough to get me insanely excited. I honestly cannot wait for this movie.

I hope some big company here in West picks up the Rebuild movies and decides to market them like crazy and releases them nationwide in all cinemas. I'm sure Evangelion would be fairly easy to market to people who haven't watched anime before. Some company like TriStar or DreamWorks.

:? ... Meh. Other than the 'crisper graphics' looks scene for scene like the original (well, okay, maybe a bit faster tearing through the AT field). This is my fear for the films. Nothing i've seen or hear has convinced me this is anything but a rehash the original with modern tech as an excuse to fleece fanboys and girls.
 
Well there is going to be extreme differences at least in the next movie with the introduction of a new (and apparently) major character to the story and apparently Kawrou being introduced a lot earlier. You can bet the ending is going to be different too.
 
This first movie probably won't be that different, but the rest certainly will. This certainly looks great though, although I'm not sure I'll ever adjust to the new look Unit 01, the old version looks a lot better.

Not yet, I ordered it from Play.com last weekend so it should be here tommorrow. Can't wait to see it, even though I've spoiled most of it for myself :(

Heh, just realised that AnimeUKNews has witnessed my tranformation into an Evangelion fanboy. Pretty much all in that one thread, where I started by asking if it was any good, then bought it, then watched it and then finished it. And you got to read through it, you lucky people, you! XD Oh, and then spent €60+ on other Evangelion stuff! :D

I'm hoping that when it gets dubbed (and it will) that they go with a different dubbing team. For the most part I didn't like the original Eva dub especially Asuka, Misato and Shinji(overactor). That's probably wishful thinking though.

Haha. If only.

I'd be happy with the same voice actors. They should have a bit more experience under their belts now, though the 'overacting' suited the characters well in the original Eva.

That is what the dub goes for though, i watched the episode that aired on Propeller today, damn it was awful. Everyone is so fxcking dumb.

hmm come to think of it... do u think theyll stick with the same dub cast or go for a whole new line up

i loved the original english cast... just my opinion i know theres alot of people who didnt.

but its might interesting to see a new cast tackle the character for a new story(kind of) lol
