Anyone played this?

Didn't think it was half as good as Ico but still a good game. The music and incredible ending were the highlights (not to mention the Colossi). :)
 
This is one of my top 10 games this year.
and boy is it good. i thought it had a great atmosphere and good artistic touch to it.
the music was also a masterpiece for this game as it ads that adventure-feel to it when fighting the Collossi.
and obviously the Colosi battles felt epic as most of them were like the size of buildings!
a great game imo!
 
I really want this game, I was talking to Mangamanx about it yesterday, she wasn't very encouraging about it. ¬_¬

Is the whole game HUGE when you travel the land to destroy the Colossi?

The game world is huge but its devoid of life. To be fair the plot vaguely points towards the world in the game being a bit of waste land, which is fair enough, but still.

I'd love to have seen a lot more intricate detail in the gaming world. But I'm being greedy.

The last Colossi is my favourite by the way. Wonderful art direction (not that I pretend I know anything about art, but I know what kind of things I like). :)
 
BUMP.

I got this game today and am up to the 9th Colossi, it's absolutely amazing, it seems a bit short, but the game is massive. I love traveling with the horse and slaying the Colossi. Buy this game... if you have the PS2. =X
 
Love the look of this game, the graphics are amazing, but as yet it is not in my collection, however it is on my Birthday list, all I have to do now is hope someone buys it for me next week :D
 
SotC is an amazing game. I highly recommend downloading the music from it, as it really add to the whole experience. Click the link in my sig. ;)

Another dense questions from me, but what site can I download the soundtrack, or even buy it from?

The music is too good.
 
Piracy is bad, mkay? Please don't encourage it on the forums. If you search for Daichi no Hokou (its Japanese name), you'll find a load of sites selling it at good prices.

My sig link contains game rips, giving you tracks not on the OST. On the other hand, the OST tracks have proper beginning/middle/ends, whereas the rips are all 'middles'.

And if you don't I hope the dust particles in the air bond together and make a hand that flicks your ears until they turn red (people with large financial commitments are excluded from this punishment).
 
lol i actually bought this game today, to see what the fuss is about, ive only beaten 2 collossi so far but its pretty damn fun!!

(is it me, or does anyone feel sorry for the collossi when your attacking them? just seems abit unfair, there minding there own buisness, and wham you climb up them and stab them in the head with a sword......)

Yup, I felt the same way about just wiping them out, but as long as they fight back, it's all good... except for the last one, damn that was hard. =|

i felt the same way also, hehe. especially for the first collosi. i mean it had such an inocent and teddy bear like looking face.
