Clearly you've never owned or lived with cats. Cats will show affection just as much if not more than dogs, though of course in both cases it varies with the individual.
 
The claws are the best part! That lovely feeling as they dig into you & tear your flesh from your very soul, it is awesome.


Dogs slobber though, & are far more dependant. In some cases, far too big too.


Though by far the worst dogs are those with bad owners.
 
Gah! What a question!

It tight but I'm gonna have to say puppy. I love dogs and though we had a family cat as well as a dog as I was growing up, I have fonder memories of the dog. ^__^

Puppy,

Why? Because i have a 8 stone boxer which is a muscle machine, anyone comes into the house, its like being searched at an airport. arms out and no sudden movements :p

seriously though...i'm considering getting a blue cat soon....because i think it's just as huggable as a dog and it'd be funny to get home to see it laid on its back in the sun completely sparko lol
 
I like cats, they look after themselves. Sure, they're complete assholes, and we'd all see them for the evil creatures they are if they weren't so cute, but I kind of like that about my cat. :)
