The latest issue of Famitsu magazine has revealed that there will be a TV anime version of Marvellous AQL’s 3DS side-scrolling sexy ninja action title Senran Kagura. Warning: trailer contains ecchi.

Synopsis
<em>
The Hanzo Academy is a secret school which has been created by the government to train ninjas who are considered “good” so they can battle “bad” ninjas hired by corrupt politicians and evil corporations. Asuka, Katsuragi, Hibari, Ikaruga, and Yagiyuu are ninjas in training and each have a secret technique scroll that they must protect and so we follow them through their training, epic battles and their tumultuous school life as they aim to become ninja!</em>
In the original game players controlled and customised five different female ninja characters who lose their clothes when damaged by enemies. The gameplay took advantage of the 3DS’s capabilities by allowing the body parts of the ninja girl to pop out of the screen during cut-scenes. The game is part of a genre named “Flying Out Enormous Breast Drama Hyper Battle.” The same issue of Famitsu is also promoting Senran Kagura Burst which is a sequel scheduled to come out on the 30th of August.
