Second Series of Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere Confirmed

The Official Twitter for Sunrise’s anime series Kyōkai Senjō no Horizon “Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere” has confirmed plans for a second series which will premiere during the summer of next year.




<em>Synopsis

Based on a light novel written series by Minoru Kawakami, the story is set in a future version of Japan which is divided into four territories, each administered by a different country as well as a floating city named Musashi, composed of eight ships in the sky where a war that will determine the fate if the world will be fought on the Musashi.</em>

Oh dear god why. 10 or 11 episodes in and apart from smug guy, booby sister and that one with a sword(?) I have no idea about the characters, or any motivation. That quiet one that we never see was meant to be important I think, she appeared on some promotional images I think.

With no idea of plot, characters, motivations and no idea at all of what has meant to be going on since the very first episode this series has failed at probably every level of storytelling and gets rewarded with another series.


Though I guess if a second season has been announced I'll be able to add "no ending" to the list too /o/
 
Congrats to the above posters for some serious lack of powers of concentration.

This was kind-of semi-already confirmed from before the show even aired, but it was nice to see the official confirmation. Shame it's Summer instead of Spring, though.
