A small (10cm high) chibi Motoko Kusangi A nice cheap ($9) kit from my normal supplier of resin garage kits in HK. I'd seen a couple of these painted on the E2046 forum and wanted one for my self.
Here's the kit after it's been cleaned up and has been dry fitted. The base (first go) was painted in the style of the issue #7 cover artwork from the original GitS manga.
I wasn't happy with the base so I sanded it back and re-did the artwork.
I've been trying out a few new airbrush techniques on this kit, and so far have painted and stripped it three times. This is the fourth go...
There is some touch up work left to do on the body, mainly a few small scratches where I cought the paint while removing the masking tape. Some areas that need hand painting (eyes) and then the hair.
