I was wondering if anyone else has been watching this. . .can i call it delightful. . .anime.

Its very random, and along the lines of humor as Nagasarete Airantou, although in a totally different sense.

The main protagonist is a dull life hating individual called Nozomu Itoshikia, a teacher, His depressingness is shown in the very first scene with him trying to commit suicide, by hanging himself, as he does many times.

And the second character is a extremely bright and happy girl called Kafuka Fūra, she is a pain towards her Teacher (Pink Supervisor), who sees something utterly horrible and disgusting, and she puts in into a good light.

The anime is 12 episodes, and on episode 2 subbed thus far.

I've watched the first episode. While it was quite funny, I was pausing every few seconds to read the text - the only series I've ever needed to do this on. It makes me think it would have been better left as a manga.
Also, from what I've heard, most of the jokes are very language related, meaning subs are going to be pretty difficult, with quite a bit of translation notes.
 
Alongside Gurren Lagann this is probably my favourite anime currently running, its so fantastically stylised, and I love my humour dark.
 
Randomly got into it, and been grinning like a drunk monkey since i started. Loving all the black board notices, seen references to Code Geass and Gurren Largen so far, and while there are lots of jokes probaly flying over my head still loving it.
 
I've seen references to Death Note, Dragonball Z and Gurren Lagen in the last episode alone, and there were no doubt a lot more.

It's an interesting series, I usually dislike comedy anime - FLCL, Excel Saga, Nagasarete Airantou, etc. but this one is pretty decent.
 
I think it's great - I'm not a big comedy fan but it has a really dark, random and actually quite British approach to the humour. The artwork is really nice too...kinda art deco-meets-traditional Japanese painting.

Fellow fans can take comfort in a second season being planned. :)
