The latest issue of Weekly Shōnen Magazine announced that Kộji Kumeta’s Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei will end in nine chapters. This means that the final chapter will be published sometime in May.
Synopsis

The satirical manga follows depressed high school teacher Nozomu Otoshikiwho is first presented trying to commit suicide. He is saved by cheerful school girl Kafuka Fuura who drives him mad. She’s just one irritating and strange person from a class of many. </em>
The manga series began in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in September, 2005 and since then 28 volumes have been written so far. It has also inspired three television anime.
