Hey everyone, I've been signed up for a good while now, but I'm only starting to properly use these forums now. So I guess I ought to introduce myself!

My name's David, I'm 17 and I'm from Ireland. I've liked anime for about a year and a half, but I've only really seen the "mainstream" stuff, like Fullmetal Alchemist and Akira and GitS among others. I've watched Death Note too (it's great!). So I'm looking forward to finding out about all the non-'mainstream' anime and some obscure anime too! That said, there are still lots of "mainstream" shows I'm dying to see, like Cowboy Bebop and Neon Genesis Evangelion! ^_^

Well, I use "CitizenGeek" on pretty much every forum I'm registered on. I use Eurogamer the most, though, maybe you saw my name there?
 
Welcome and yes Lust is the best homuculus :D It was so wrong of them to kill her off and not have her in the movie ;(

I'm with you 100% there! She's was easily one of the most interesting characters in the anime and by far the 'coolest'! I think she is one of the greateast characters to ever come out of anime! The manga just doesn't do her justice! :D

I think your similar to me with, having a 'bay guy' starting off having no soul or feelings towards other and finally starting to get close to another character, but BAM they die.
Also I recommend Claymore if you like Lust, Teresa from Claymore is very similar a character.

Thanks for the reccomendation, I'll definately check out Claymore eventually!

I loved the fact that human traits (like regret, loyalty to memories, revenge) were personified in the homunculi, especially Lust!

She was just such an awesome character and FMA wouldn't have been as enjoyable without her! And Gluttony is like the fanboy from hell to her XD

Could of been i'm sure it was a gunz or runescape forum though when i played them but you seem to nice to be signed up to either of them :roll:

Hehe, nope, I've never signed up for Runescape or Gunz.
