Rock Band

:lol: I dont really have friends I c ould play it with regular. I dunno, il see, if I have spare cash, (and lots of it), I may get it anyway.

correct, but surely playing with other over the net is just as good?

compaired to the stress of having to find 4 people to come round at a certain time and play
 
I won't be getting it because it's hella expensive, I'll never be able to have friends over often enough, and the songs suck.

Yeah, but there's less fun in playing against people you can't see.

Then why not just get guitar hero? ;p

I mean, if your going to play one player and your not going to go live, its just a worse, more expensive version of guitar hero. From what I've heard, the guitar isn't that good on rock band.

Personally, I won't get it. I would rather buy a ton of stuff, rather than a ps3 and rockband (£400 for all of it?). It looks awesome, but I'm not into that kind of co-operative multiplayer game. Nor am I liking the price ^.^

or you could get a 360 and rock band :p that will probably cost about 100-150 less

After thinking about it i'll probably pass on this for the time being

I play it like that when I'm not playing with my sister in our band, she plays bass.

I do like the Guitar because it's more like a simulator than Guitar Hero, you feel like you're playing the music, rather than playing complex hammer-ons which are supposed to make you feel like a BIG MAN.

lolguitarhero3, Knights of Cydonia on Expert really sums the game up.
 
I had a go yesterday on the drums in zavvi. Really good and fun. Although, I think it was on easy mode or something because I hardly had to do anything >_<.
 
The drums are awesomely fun, if a bit hard to get used to (I play the actual drums and I found it hard at first :() and the singing is great if you know the song. Don't quite understand how I'm ever gonna learn some of the german/french songs but I'll give it a shot. I was never good at guitar hero so I haven't bothered with them, but my mates who are hardcore GH fans inform me the Rock Band guitar sucks a little. Overall - DRUMS FTW!!!
