can i be the first to point out but bar the last one, they're all southeners :(

How about that their all English? That might be a more important fact to mention. Of course I'm not suggesting anything by that but it is a little annoying that Scotland, Wales and Ireland haven't gotten a single mention.

I didn't bother to enter again this year D: I hate busy school years. It is rather annoying that only English was the only metioned. Even if they had a 'Best Scottish Entry, Best Irish Entry, and Best Welsh Entry' or something might even be better, as stupid as it does sound xD

I sincerely doubt that an artist's geographical location would affect how the judges rate a submission. (I doubt they even pay that much attention)

The whole North/South divide is overrated and only really appears when people force it. If you knew what these people looked like you'd probably complain there aren't enough black/white/asian/disabled winners as well.

(congrats to the winners!)

Most of the Anime fans are Southeners, I mean look at the majority of people who lives down South on this forum and other forums too, so the probability of the winners to be Southeners has a higher percent then people who lives elsewhere.

Anyway congrats to all the winners

If the majority of fans are 'southerners' then that’s availability for you. I know TP has not been marketing the RROM over here; I have yet to see a leaflet or any information to get the attention of anyone whom isn’t on the internet nor any attempt to make contact with the fan community.

More over availability is just a lot better in the south of England, but that’s the case with all countries with decency populated areas vs lesser populated areas. The lesser popular area loses out on most things including effective entertainment distribution. I know down in Londonderry we only got our first anime DVD’s in a store in 2002 and it’s the second largest city in Northern Ireland. That just shows!

Anyway this isn't a debate on geographic distribution of anime fans, RROM winner or anime products. Congratulations winners!
