I quite enjoyed X, mainly because i watched it without expecting anything amazing. I was pleasantly suprised and ended up really enjoying it.
 
For anyone who enjoyed this movie, I totally recommend that you look into importing X TV. It maintain a lot of what was good about this movie but adds some fine characterization.
 
i didnt like the movie as i watched the x tv seire frist and its the same thinbg just told better, so i got bored of the movie when watching it.

I agree, the X tv show is one of the best anime around, it's overlooked because most people didn't really like the film. The show has everything sci-fi, mysticism, romance and action. I think what the creators of the film didn’t realise is that X is simply too big and character driven to be made into one film, so a TV series had to be created to do it some justice. Plus because there are so many great characters in it I honestly think that if it wasn’t for the fact that it was based on a manga it could have have gone on for more then one season, like stand alone complex did.

Anyway, I didn't like the X movie either. Bits of it were okay (usually the fights in the first half of the movie, and you can never go wrong with X-Japan songs), but the rest left me confused. I've been hoping to get X TV for some while now, but never managed to motivate myself into doing it. Just waiting for a boxed set...
