Craig and I will be recording the next episode of the podcast this weekend with the third part of our Macross retrospective with reviews of the Macross 7 TV series and Encore OVA.
Must confess that I struggled to get through 7. Can’t remember now how far in I got, but the early episodes seemed positively glacial in their pacing, and I think it felt like there was a lot of reused footage to pad things out. I did like Firebomber though - the opening track is still a banger.

Congratulations on the NHK interview - it’s a shame it ended up being such a small soundbyte in the programme, but that’s still really cool that they reached out to you!

A very, very belated thanks @Professor Irony, at first I thought it was a hoax , we were interviewed for an hour but they used a tiny bit of what was recorded but it was still an extremely cool thing to have done!
