(1) Gilder can't smoke tobacco.
In the Japanese version of SoA, Gilder would smoke in some
of the victory scenes. This had to be removed.
(2) Bellena's clothes
Apparently, in the Japanese version of SoA some of Bellena's clothes are semi-transparent.
And there is not as much there. This also had to be changed.
(3) Liquor is now Loqua
In Eternal Arcadia, there was Liquor... and it was alcoholic. In Skies, it was
changed to Loqua which is described as a type of juice.
(4) Sailors Island Tavern door
In Eternal Arcadia, the picture carved into the tavern door is
a glass of Liquor. This was changed to a chicken leg.
(5) Vigoro
The file I was reading was translated from Japanese, so it was hit and miss on the translation.
But apparently, they had to change something when Vigoro meets Aika in the Valuan prison cell.
I have no idea what it was though.
The Hydra boss in Olympus Coliseum had its green blood from the original Japanese version (which was taken from the film) changed into black and purple smoke in the English version. An earlier cut scene retains the green blood.
Xigbar's telescopic sight was changed from view with a crosshair and black shading around the sides to three glowing circles. An attack animation was also altered; in the Japanese version, Xigbar combined his two hand-held guns to create a sniper rifle, which was used to shoot the player's party during the telescoping sight sequence. In the English version, Xigbar does not combine his guns, but twirls them around and shoots at Sora with a single gun. The death of Organization XIII member Axel was slightly edited; in the original, he caught fire during his suicide attack.
Port Royal contains the most content edits. Cut scenes were edited to remove some of the violence, such as William Turner threatening to commit suicide while aiming a gun at his head. Unlike the Japanese version, Undead Pirates do not catch fire when affected by Fire magic and their muskets were modified to resemble crossbows.
Vinnie said:Wow, KH had that many edits?
But, I bet the thing about cutting out Axel's death animation so that rabid Axel fans (like me) didn't drown the house when he died.
Uhm, uhm, I'm trying to think.... Nope, no idea. Sorry! D:
