recommend a good gory anime

Really it seems like there's only me that likes this show looking around forums and such. o.o

there was another 1 or 2 who mentioned it and and some1 recommended me it in a private message to me aswell

No I really enjoyed it too. At the time, it was like the most hyped/best anime ever, which is why there is something of a backlash. I thought it was a very solid well put together anime. Probably the most critical thing, is that you never felt that even main characters were safe, you always felt that Lucy could really snap and even take out the leads.

Wasn't perfect, but it was gripping, and one of the best anime of that year. Now that all the DVDs are out, I am tempted to snap them up and rewatch.

-Fist of the Porn Star
-Bunbuster
-Bubblebutt Crisis
-Burn Up! XXXcess
-La Puta

Eh', the Rurouni Kenshin 1st OVA is fairly gory in parts... nothing like a person being cut up so fast that they explode in a shower of blood.
