I know I said two but what ever

I wanna recommend another one called Axis Powers Hetalia

is about a bunch of countries trough various wars
but as bishonen characters

it's really cute and each ep is about 5 minutes

Aria Series 1 and 2: A show about girls learning to be Undines (female gondoliers) on the terraformed planet of Mars. Not for action junkies as it is slow paced. 9/10

Baccano - A show about immortal alchemists, mafia and much more. Set during the 1930s. Has a very good intro. 8/10

Moribito and Hyper Police were close contenders.
 
so far Spice and Wolf looks good, so i would recommend that to all of oyu who haven't seen it yet

and i also recommend Bamboo Blade, as it's quite humourous and maybe a bit different from most other Slice of Life's (it's about Kendo, need i say more? :D )
