Rave Master

Hey all, was wondering if anyone has seen the anime (atleast i think its an anime?) called Rave Master. Looking on wikipedia it says that they didnt finish the anime and only made up to 51 episodes but i was wondering if this was enough for a decent story line before it ended.
I used to watch this on Toonami or whatever channel it was on but im not entirely sure of what episode i got up to so i cant tell how far i got in the story.

If anyone could help that would be good :)

I remember it being on as well as watching the odd episode here and there. But I personally didn't think it was any good at all, which i guess was shared with quite a few of the viewers seeing as it dropped off the face of the earth without being completely shown.

Hmm im not sure then if they didnt finish it properly. Oh well thanks for the help guys, i may look into it a bit more but im not 100%.

I've only seen a few of the CN eps and I loved it, I really would like the japanese version but I doubt I'd ever have time to watch it.

I, being a Rave Master fan, must say that this is one of the cases in which the sub is most definately better then the dub. As, TokyoPop, edited the show and what not. It did infact air all 51 episodes in the US, however the second season was poorly recieved by viewers.

And the manga is quite good, and actually completes the story, however, TokyoPop is still like 8 Volumes before the end.

It's a pity that Tokyopop neglected to release a subbed version; most of the fansubs were riddled with spelling errors, which made them difficult to watch.

I'll never forgive the dub for replacing the music, though. 'Groove Adventure Rave' had a superb soundtrack! The composer created the musical score for the 'Ghost in the Shell' movie, I believe.

As for the manga, the drawing style irritated me endlessly, and it does have the potential to deter potential readers.

The anime adaptation did not end wholly conclusively, although the story was getting better just as the series ended. I'd recommend -- if you can tolerate the art style -- to read the manga instead. The anime has a unfulfilling ending, and I suspect that the remainder of the manga will not be animated.

Hmm changed my mind then, may look into watching it. I used to watch it all the time when it was on TV but then it stopped airing.

rave master is awesome! i remeber watching it on tonami and then when it got to a really juicy episode an you thought they were gonna die WHAM!
whens the next episode coming on mommy 0.0....
never to be seen again TT_TT
i cant beleive they never actualy finished any series...thats a bit of a bummer it was so good ^_^

Yer i remember it suddenly stopping aswell. I always thought it was because people didnt watch it enough or something, so they took it off air. But when i found out the other day they only made about 50 episodes i was kinda disapointed, was gonna start watching it again but kind pointless if theres no proper ending.

Really gutted to find out they never finished the anime off :(
Loving the manga so far
Only up to volume 5, managed to pick up 1,2 and 3 for £13 for all 3!
What a bargain.
Any chance to pick up the anime again or is it definitely dead?

the anime only made up to 51 eps and it didn't finish with the manga. they ended it with them saying they are going to look for the last rave stones.
