Rapture TV still looking to acquire new anime?

The first 2 posts did not make me happy. Elfen Lied? Gantz? Hellsing? Is that really the kind of thing we want exposed as anime on tv?

I can't say the choices that people are coming up with are all that good. For some reason I can't sign up to the forum(I think it's my connection) but if I could choose it would be between...

Last Exile - Fantasy Adventure with a classy look, interesting storyline and good characters.

Fruits Basket - I can't say I enjoyed it at all but it seems to be extremely popular with most people that have seen it.

R.O.D the TV - Nice elements of action and comedy with some likeable characters and twists.

Planetes - Realistic Sci- Fi with some solid characters and nice artwork.

All of these also have good quality English dubs in my opinion as well.

If somebody could post that for me...

I think if adult swim was to get Gantz that would be a sensible choice. Reinforce the adult in adult swim. Then again in the HMV anime preview disc I enjoyed Otogi Zoshi and Noein.

While also reinforcing that anime is just super violent action. The story doesn't hold to much either, it's all over the place.

Obviously I would welcome like non-violent or not as violent anime on adult swim. I fear though this would be the stuff that Bravo would probably look at to put on adult swim.

Animes I like to see....

The .Hack Anime - yep, cause its for a friend....

Fruit Basket - Because we need more anime aimed at girls, like I said. Screw men and their so called Manly shows

Bleach - Cause I said so... Well, ignore this if you want to

CowBoy Bebop - Definitley this, It needs to be shown on Rapture

Hell Yeah. Cowboy Bebop would be very cool indeed.

I Lets see, avoiding anything that's been on tv before, Gundam 0079? (The movies even?)

Mahoromantic (maybe too adult? maybes not? I meen skys the limit after Excell 26)

Eureka Seven (It's bones, bones is always win (cept when it's not *COUGHwolfsrainCOUGH*)
Samruai Champloo (As above, too violent though?)

yeah, I'm done here.

lol its was me that suggested elfen lied and hellsing look at the username

As Dave has said before(other topics), Bebop does need a decent run in the UK since the run on CNX was shown at different times and not in episode order. Other than that, i would think maybe Eureka Seven would be a good choice, and maybe some GitS:SAC though i haven't seen any of the dub so i don't know if it is any good. Series like Bleach, should be left off the channel i think since its a series without an end at the moment, and as i have said before, its better to have a series that ends so you can get another series in that maybe be better at getting more people interested in anime.

Cowboy Bebop and Carton Network goes hand in hand with Bebop and TV Tokyo, they both messed up when airing it.

I wonder if Rapture could do it properly, afterall it is one of the series that would most likely get people into anime.

Good god I thought I was the only person who didn't like that anime. Great to see someone who didn't enjoy it, like me.

Rahxephon- this has a brilliant story with great action and an ending that doesn’t let you down.

Noir-what can I say stylish and stunning, did I forget to mention that the music is done by Yuki Kajiura.

Full Metal Panic would be an excellent choice, would appeal to alot of people.
Seconded. Full Metal Panic! does cover a lot of bases, so everyone can get something out of it. Trigun is pretty popular, even among my non-anime watching friends, so that would be good to see as well.
