Radiohead song to be used in Ergo Proxy

It has recently emerged that Radiohead's song "Paranoid Android" will be the "main theme" of Ergo Proxy (not the opening or ending song, but rather heavily featured in the show itself); this is a hotly anticpated anime science fiction series from Manglobe (Samurai Champloo).

This news comes after another UK indie band Franz Ferdinand had their song "Do You Want To" chosen as the ending theme of romance drama Paradise Kiss.

Wow, back in the days when Radiohead were still great...it's a cracking tune! I'm looking forward to seeing what this series is like - the trailer seems to be hidden behind an annoying 'file not found' page right now.

It will be interesting to see how they implement this tune into the show, it generally suits the tone of the story and provided it isn't overused, should be a fine addition to an already more than promising series.

This sounds very interesting, just because since they did franz ferninad with paradise kiss last year i guess there is a boom in the use of british band music.

The now-disbanded Delgados did the op theme for Gunslinger Girl, which makes me all the more intrigued by it.
