Quick Naruto Question

Naruto has some of the worst filler arcs... trust me, you'd be better off skipping it. Also, I have a habit of comparing an arc to the arc to the previous arc before it. The Sasuke retrieval Arc was amazing. So I just stopped watching once that had finished and moved on to Shippuuden.

Also, I'm pretty sure Wikipedia could give the answer to this in about 5 seconds ^^'

Problem there might be the spoilers though.

Maybe. You could just google "list of Naruto episodes" and you'd get the whole list. I don't think the Naruto has descriptions for each for it's episodes so it should be safe.

Otherwise, Touche'.

It's spread across several pages, though.

...cause you don't know how it's even going to end

If it ever ends ;)

Another thing about manga artists, and this is a completely personal view, is that they might have a fair idea of what they want to do, but fail miserably to keep to it due to pressures such as making profits for the magazines. As I've heard, the manga magazines are pretty quick to cancel a series if it's not doing well, so it seems to me that authors have a tendency to drag on and on so they can milk the magazines and the public as much as they can. It's hard to find authors with several good selling mangas and as far as I know, they only get paid on the basis of the weekly series and the tankobon collections sales, so I dare say that it's very likely that many mangakás make a living out of a single successful series.

Like I mentioned, it's not like I have any inside information to back this up. It's just my views given some articles I've read over here an there.

That sounds about right. If we take a more recent Jump title that didn't do well recently, Double Arts, that wasn't that popular amongst Jump's readers, so it was dropped after just over 25 chapters. Which i found a shame, it was different to your typical Shounen Jump series, and i found it enjoyable, and i'm pretty sure it was going to lead onto something interesting, and it just ended.

With the Naruto manga, i could actually see that ending in the next year or so with the way things are going in it. Ok there is still a few things left to deal with, but still, i still see it ending in the next year to two years.
