Question about region 1 DVDs and blu-ray

Dare I say that I've noticed it's only Southerners who seem to be getting tired of it? ;P
I wouldn't know, frankly unless you were a miner, or someone else who suffered the wrath of Thatcher, no one really gives a **** anymore, now let us put this to bed, before the thread derails. 8)

I have a PS3 and a standalone BD player for Region A discs and I'm from Yorkshire.
But how do you use them without electricity?
I have a whippet on a treadmill.

It's just a bit of simple ribbing. I've never known anyone express anti-southern / anti-northern sentiment in a serious manner nor have I seen anyone take it as a slight on their character before. I mean it's not like you're from Lancashire or anything...

only joking Chaz and Ryo.

Fair enough then, it's kinda hard to tell, what with it being text and all.

And Australia only has a population of 22 million. How the hell can they have a larger anime market than the UK!? Do they get the licences on the cheap or is there a sizeable number of middle-aged and elderly Australian anime fans?
Australia has far more anime on TV than the UK, and has done for a long time. It's also only got 2 anime distros, te monopoly is goo in terms of selection, if bad in terms of price.
