Question about Negima Censorship

For some reason that I haven't figured out yet, i've found myself going through my old anime and manga collections,

I've just started reading Negima again and although I've only read the first few volumes upto now, I've remembered reading something a long time ago about how the English version had a load of ham-fisted censorship cuts.

Does anyone know what was cut exactly, and does it take away from the story in any way?
 
From what I know, Del Rey planned to add in bits of censorship to certain scenes but not take out any of the story

but this idea was scrapped and the volumes were released uncensored
 
Mainly because there was nothing definitively wrong with what was being shown. There's never actually any full frontal nudity or scenes of sexual intercourse throughout the book, strands of hair over nipples notwithstanding.
