PSN Error 8001050F

Get someone on his friend list to select "compare trophies". That'll confirm you still have them.

They've gone though. He got a few on the day of release, and they've all gone. They dont even show up as ever being obtained.

In fact, give me his PSN name and I will check for you, and tell you what trophies are registered to that account.

To elaborate, this is because trophy data is backed up on a PSN server, which then checks with the console to make sure they both match up, and to add to one what is missing from the other. We can tell that the trophies are stored on a server when we choose to compare trophies with someone whose console is switched off or is offline.
 
Spyro; tell him to load up the game and load his save file. it will reinitialise all his trophies for that game.

same thing happened to me, but once i'd loaded the game up it was fine.

I don't know if that works with all games, but I can personally confim it does with Bayonetta. You got it to work with Dragonball Raging Blast, right?

Yeah, it retrieved all my trophy data the moment i Loaded the game. just putting the game on didn't surfice, i had to load a save file for it to retrieve them.
 
This is just me quoting someone who tried to get their trophies back:

Start the game - you will have it with 0% in your list. Then go to the XML while ingame and press X on your profile - he will start syncronize and your trophyprogress should be back in your trophylist (got my 5 Star Ocean trophies back this way).

If that doesn't work fully, some games will get you some of the trophy data back, while others may lose it all, its one thing that has been suffered by a lot of users.
