That doesn't look like the full trailer either, more like only half of one, i presume we'll see the full thing somewhere eventually. Regardless, i am now tempted by a Layton game, hah. I'd love to see how this works.
 
I thought it was gonna be a film the first time I saw it.
I'm sure it'll be awesome.
They're two great studios, I'm sure they'll make it work.
 
Well this will keep the PW fans pleased.

As well as keeping him out of Marvel vs Capcom 3, thankfully.

EDIT - I has info on it already(I'm really good ;p) and it is as follows:

Hershel Layton and Phoenix Wright finds themselves in a different world
The city is called Labyrinth City, where illusions and reality cross. Magic and witches are real, but hidden from view.
Villian is known as the Story Teller. He controls the city and literally writes the future.
Layton will find himself solving new puzzles. Wright will be defending someone accused of witchcraft.
The trial that takes place in this world is "Majo Saiban," or "Witch Trial." (First mentioned on the Japanese official Gyakuten Saiban site)
