From a quick glance a few of them don't line up with the official BBFC rating, also quite a bit of adult material

Well there's nothing wrong with Koneko, but there is a few scenes with Asia that could be considered sexual harassment or rape in the first half of the series.

The DxD Specials each have hentai themes without the hentai. And yes there are tentacles in one of them.

At least one Asia scene I can think of might be an issue, or at least push things to an 18. I do wonder if the 3rd OAV with Koneko might be cut, though she is shown to have some boob so that might pass unlike the Dragon Destiny 2nd OAV being cut (Flat chest = wrath of BBFC)

Are bbfc ratings, obligatory?

Most of the time they make no sense, and look incredibly out of place on the art work, one of the reason's why I import unless I can't (due to region locking etc).
