The game is a spin-off crossover between the Pokemon franchise and the Nobunaga’s Ambition RPG series and sees the player take the role of a military leader during the tumultuous sengoku period and link up with a partner Pokemon to battle Nobunaga and other famous historical figures. The setting is a new region named Ranse and it features 200 Pokemon from different generations of the Pokemon franchise.

The game is released in Japan on the 17th of March.

I've been following this game ever since it was announced at JUMP Festa in December. So far, I'm really liking the idea and am certainly hoping that it does receive a localised release.

I want this game in my DSi yesterday.

Not only is it something I've wanted for a long while (A pokemon SRPG) it's a batshibe insane Dynesty Warriors type situation with Nobunaga.

It's like how can this not be awesome?

Well, Nintendo COULD not release it over here and region lock it (it's geting DSI enchacements, that means region locking, sadly). That'd suck balls.

^ If you have a DS Phat or DS Lite though, the region block doesn't mean anything.
A) It's still the principal of the matter and B) DSiXLs are amazing at displaying DS Graphics. It's a mini portal into the wonders of Low Poly art.

The Nintendo Direct stream confirmed today that there are currently no plans to release the game in Europe; although as some clearly Japanese-only games (like Hatsune Miku) were skipped from the EU stream (which was the Japanese stream, but subbed) makes me think that plans are being made...

So the Miku game (can I go and download a demo on my 3DS now btw?) was just "blacked out" from the EU stream, but they showed Pokenaga just to say they weren't releasing it in Europe "atm"? Does sound at least a little promising.
